Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers may request cancellation only before the order has been dispatched.
To request cancellation, email us at mandakinipublications@gmail.com with your order number and registered email address.
If the cancellation request is approved before dispatch, we will process the cancellation and refund, where applicable, to the original payment method.
Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
After dispatch, orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable except in the specific eligible cases mentioned below.
Return and Refund Eligibility
Books and physical publications are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the following cases:
- The book is received in damaged condition.
- The book has a clear manufacturing or printing defect that makes it unusable.
- The wrong book is delivered.
- An item is missing from the order.
- The shipment is confirmed lost by the courier/logistics partner.
In eligible cases, Mandakini Publications may offer a replacement first. If replacement is unavailable or not feasible, an approved refund may be processed.
If only part of an order is affected, the replacement or refund may be limited to the affected item only.
Damage or Issue Reporting Window
If you receive a damaged, defective, wrong, or incomplete order, you must report the issue within 3 days of delivery.

- Customer name
- Registered email address
- Delivery date
- Clear photographs or video of the package
- Clear photographs or video of the damaged, defective, wrong, or missing item issue
- Photograph of the shipping label, if available
We may request photographs or an unboxing video, where available, to verify the issue.
Requests raised after 3 days of delivery may not be accepted.
Replacement Process
If your request is approved, Mandakini Publications may arrange a replacement for the damaged, defective, wrong, or missing item.
Replacement availability depends on stock, delivery location, courier serviceability, and other operational factors.
If replacement is not available or not feasible, we may approve a refund instead.
Refund Process and Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days from the date of refund approval.
The actual time for the amount to reflect in the customer’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or payment method used.
Mandakini Publications is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, card networks, or third-party financial institutions after the refund has been initiated from our side.
Shipping Charges and Refunds
If a refund is approved for a damaged, defective, wrong, missing, or courier-confirmed lost order, the refund may include the product price and shipping charges paid for that order.
For customer-side errors, shipping charges will not be refunded. Customer-side errors include, but are not limited to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Recipient unavailable after multiple delivery attempts
- Wrong product ordered by customer
- Change of mind after dispatch
- Failure to pay customs/import charges for international orders
- Return-to-origin caused by customer-side delivery issues
Additional re-shipping charges may apply if an order needs to be shipped again due to customer-side errors.
Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable Cases
Refunds, returns, or replacements will not be provided in the following cases:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Customer ordered the wrong book
- Customer no longer wants the book
- Customer dislikes the content after purchase
- Minor colour, shade, or design variation from website images
- Minor printing or binding variations that do not affect readability or usability
- Damage caused after delivery
- Request made after 3 days of delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Refused delivery
- Shipment returned due to customer unavailability
- Customs/import duty refusal or non-payment for international orders
Lost Shipments
If a shipment is not delivered within the courier/logistics partner’s expected timeline, please contact us at mandakinipublications@gmail.com.
We will coordinate with the courier/logistics partner. If the shipment is officially confirmed as lost by the courier/logistics partner, Mandakini Publications may provide a replacement or refund, depending on product availability and order circumstances.
International Orders
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, local charges, or delivery restrictions in the destination country.
These charges and requirements are the customer’s responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise.
Refunds will not be issued for international orders that fail delivery due to customs refusal, unpaid import charges, incorrect customer details, restricted delivery areas, or customer-side issues.
